Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and specific maintenance tasks at a Columbus, OH facility. This role operates on a day shift and pays $24-$26 per hour, with responsibilities spanning general repairs, safety checks, and preventive maintenance.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and hands-on experience in maintenance or facility operations, with knowledge of standard trades and tooling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment.
• Act as back-up for call person in case of emergency and respond timely.
• Handle all equipment safely and demonstrate good working knowledge of tools.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule and complete reports as requested.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, test/generator weekly, and inspect fire alarm system.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing system and fixtures; repair furniture as needed.
