Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance department in Columbus, NE. You will help ensure the facility operates safely by performing routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.

You will inspect HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, perform preventive tasks, and coordinate with contractors as needed. A high school diploma is required, with preferred HVAC/electrical/plumbing training and healthcare

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related field preferred.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility maintenance experience highly desirable.

Aufgaben

• Routine inspections of facility systems and equipment (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Perform preventive maintenance according to schedules.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, heating, and cooling issues.
• Ensure safety regulations and facility policies are followed; address hazards.
• Respond to emergencies, including after-hours requests.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized work.
• Oversee maintenance tools and equipment upkeep.
• Assist with general upkeep like landscaping, painting, minor construction.
• Communicate status of requests and repairs with management.
