Job summary

CBRE - Government & Defense is seeking an Utilities Worker to perform a wide range of facility maintenance and light construction tasks across assigned sites. The role involves plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs, along with occasional custodial duties.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and may have prior experience in facilities maintenance. Lifting, climbing, and ability to work evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Preferred: job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building repairs that do not require a specialized trade license, including painting, basic carpentry, light plumbing/bathroom repairs, door and hardware repair.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, and surfaces to identify maintenance, repair, or replacement needs.
• Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces; vacuuming and mopping floors.
• Restocks assigned areas and maintain utility supplies in closets; restock paper goods and soap regularly.
• Set up conference rooms and assist in organizing food and beverage for meetings and events.
• Respond to facility emergencies and notify appropriate staff after hours.
