Job summary

LittleFlowerNY is seeking a Maintenance Worker in Queens, NY. This full-time role maintains and repairs agency facilities, ensuring safety and function of heating, electrical, plumbing, and other systems.

You will develop routine maintenance with the Maintenance Services Manager for the Rockaway Park site, support NSP/NSD staffing, and be on-call for emergencies. A High School diploma and 2 years' related experience, plus a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee repairs and maintenance of agency facilities and systems.
• Develop and manage routine maintenance schedules with the Maintenance Services Manager.
• Assist with custodial tasks and grounds maintenance as needed.
• Maintain logs and track purchases/receipts for department.
• Respond to emergency maintenance on-call as required.
