Job summary

Peak Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team. The role involves general cleaning, routine maintenance tasks, and ensuring safety and cleanliness of common areas across properties.

The technician will complete work orders, assist with safety checks, and support event setup while maintaining building systems and responding to tenant needs as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of janitorial duties experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, both oral and written.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Vacuum carpet, spot clean, shampoo and extract on an assigned basis.
• Clean and dust furniture, blinds and other surfaces.
• Service, clean, disinfect restrooms and restock supplies.
• Replace lightbulbs and monitor safety inside the property.
• Set up and arrange furniture for events.
• Maintain supply inventory and report low stock.
