Kroger Co. is seeking aFacility Engineering assistant to support maintenance across store facilities, including electrical, mechanical, refrigeration/HVAC, and specialty trades.

Competenze

• Experience reading schematics.
• EPA Type 1 Certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Mansioni

• Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment.
• Develop skills for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Assist in component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, and lifts safely.
• Travel to stores daily to service locations.
• Clean and maintain company service vehicles when assigned.
• Communicate with store personnel about equipment use to reduce repeats.
• Use email to send and receive messages.
• Complete repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation promptly.
• Follow all department and company policies and procedures.
• Handle physical demands including standing, lifting up to 70 pounds, ladders, bending, and temperature changes.
