Job summary

You will participate in preventive maintenance, repairs, and inventory management while learning to troubleshoot and service equipment across store facilities. The role emphasizes safety, integrity and teamwork as you drive to stores, document repairs, and cooperate with store personnel to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience reading schematics
• Vocational school education
• EPA Type 1 Certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must hold and maintain a valid drivers license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing preventive maintenance tasks and procedures for buildings and equipment.
• Develop skills for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Assist in performing component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, and lifts safely.
• Drive independently to stores as assigned.
• Clean and maintain service vehicles.
• Communicate with store personnel about equipment use and overtime implications.
• Use company email to send/receive messages.
• Complete repair, labor, and parts documentation promptly.
• Comply with department and company policies.
• Meet physical demands including lifting up to 70 pounds and climbing ladders.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Manage conflicts in a constructive manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
