Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support store facilities and equipment across assigned locations. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance and document work orders with accuracy.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in electrical/mechanical maintenance, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with Microsoft Office. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance.
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores on a daily basis as assigned.
• Assist with and perform preventive maintenance tasks for building and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment as directed.
• Assist in performing component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
• Complete repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation in a timely fashion.
• Comply with all department and company policies and procedures.
