Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services, Inc. is seeking maintenance technicians in Santa Monica to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair commercial properties. You may self-perform or coordinate subcontractors for various trades.

The role covers light electrical work, plumbing, finishes, painting, and lifting equipment. Candidates should have 2–5 years of mechanical experience and a valid driver’s license. Schedule includes Tue–Sat and Wed–Sun shifts with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Two to five years mechanical experience including electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance work orders according to schedule.
• Complete work accurately and on time in a safe manner.
• Maintain and repair electrical lighting systems including emergency lights and exit signs.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems.
• Repair interior and exterior finishes and painting.
• Operate scissor or boom lifts and use ladders for bulb replacement and banner hanging.
• Complete and submit paperwork accurately and on time.
• Keep facilities clean and handle minor landscaping as needed.
