Job summary

Georgia World Congress Center Authority is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance and repairs on building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry, while ensuring safety and compliance during events.

You will troubleshoot issues, document work orders, and support the campus operations team to maintain high facility standards and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of electrical, HVAC or plumbing experience.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license required.
• Technical school training in electrical or HVAC preferred.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair electrical controls, wiring and lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using testing devices.
• Monitor and secure equipment and supplies; perform plumbing and carpentry tasks.
• Document work orders and maintain records; report needs.
• Participate in safety and training programs; work collaboratively with teams.
