Job summary

Avera Prince of Peace-Skilled Nursing is seeking a facilities maintenance technician to join a multidisciplinary team on the day shift. You will perform inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance of buildings, equipment, and grounds at a facility in the United States.

The role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities every fifth week; a $1,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants, and on-call pay is offered as a perk.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; related experience a plus.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Drivers license required; licensing board preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and repair of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Operate heating, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related systems as needed.
• Repair and maintain beds, wheelchairs, kitchen equipment, and furniture.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program, PM schedules, logs, and records.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in safety drills; assist with off-site errands or deliveries as needed.
