Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Building Operations Technician based in Kings Mountain, NC with about 60% travel to Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include repairs, maintenance, and restoration of building infrastructure, and assisting engineers in daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical training or degree. Candidates should be comfortable with ladders, tools, documentation, and on-call duties 24/7.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED; technical training or degree desired.
• Basic understanding of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Able to operate electric hand tools, climb ladders, lift heavy loads.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and documenting work.
• Must have valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of building infrastructure components.
• Assist Critical Facilities Operating Engineers as a co-pilot in completing building operations, maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in writing procedures including EOPs, SOPs, and MOPs.
