The position requires hands-on maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks, with on-call availability for emergencies. On-site work in Wilmington, NC, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within JLL.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in basic HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 80 lbs and climb ladders; work on-call for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance including lighting repairs, HVAC coil cleaning, filter changes and belt replacements.
• Conduct interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing furniture, and painting.
• Conduct facility inspections and document conditions, report needs to operations team.
• Respond to tenant service requests and perform minor plumbing repairs.
• Move furniture and equipment and coordinate with occupants and teams.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of building equipment and subsystems.
• Work in physically demanding conditions, including heights and lifting up to 80 lbs.
