Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Three years general building maintenance experience is required.
• Ability to handle hand tools and basic maintenance tasks.
• Some assignments may require forklift or manual lift equipment.
• Strong reading and numerical reasoning for basic measurements.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide good customer service.
• Adherence to safety practices and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties including cleaning floors, kitchens, bathrooms, and trash removal.
• Assist in building maintenance such as changing filters and minor repairs.
• Clean buildings and grounds as needed and restock supplies.
• Provide transportation to and from the Senior Center as required.
• Assist with serving lunch and cleanup after meals.
• Move and set up furniture for city events when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
