Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold and repair small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems. You will support preventive maintenance, inspect systems, and assist with installation and modification of equipment under supervision.

This role is part of Engineering and Technical Services. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years of related experience, with physical ability to handle 50 lb loads and proficient use of Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry 50 lbs+.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in applying work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with available systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems operate efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures under close supervision.
