Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service small- to mid-size buildings and industrial systems. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include inspecting systems, assisting with installations, reviewing work orders, and ensuring energy efficiency and code compliance. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience and be able to lift heavy loads when required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to follow basic routines and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose potential problems.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review work orders and track completion with maintenance systems.
• Support energy management by ensuring building systems run efficiently.
• Inspect installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
