Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Mobile, AL to perform routine and preventive maintenance, repairs, and basic electrical/plumbing work across our facilities. You will manage daily work orders and assist contractors to keep buildings safe and functional.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, a working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC, plus strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in buildings or related trades.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and HVAC.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose issues quickly.
• Good interpersonal and customer-service oriented communication.
• Physical ability to stand, climb, bend and lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Routine & Preventive Maintenance: inspect buildings, equipment and grounds.
• General Repairs: patching drywall, painting, doors, windows, locks, flooring.
• Plumbing & Electrical: fix basic plumbing and electrical issues.
• Work Order Management: manage daily orders using ServiceNow.
• Safety & Compliance: ensure work meets codes and safety standards.
• Vendor & Contractor Assistance: escort/assist third‑party contractors.
