Job summary

DSV is seeking a Facilities Specialist in Texas to ensure the safe and efficient condition of the facility and equipment. You will perform maintenance and simple repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, or custodial areas.

The role requires 1+ year of facilities maintenance experience, high school level education and forklift certification. Work is in a warehouse environment with standard safety practices and on-site supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Able to work in warehouse environments with variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and equipment; supervise general maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Inspect, diagnose, and perform repairs.
• Identify safety hazards and maintain safe work site.
• Operate equipment including sit-down/stand-up lifts and pallet jacks; maintain forklift certification.
• Support grounds maintenance and cleanliness.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
