Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our Fort Worth facility.

You will perform maintenance across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, and custodial tasks, with responsibilities to manage preventative maintenance programs and assist other departments as needed. The role requires hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, the ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures, and a valid forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the condition of the building and equipment and supervising others who perform general maintenance and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical, electrical, or custodial tasks.
• Execute preventative maintenance on building and equipment systems and inspect material handling, heating/cooling, electrical, plumbing.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment and furnishings; ensure safe operation of all building systems and report issues.
• Identify safety hazards and maintain a safe work site during repairs or maintenance.
• Use standard methods to determine priorities and approaches for tasks and repairs; operate common hand or power tools and maintain forklift certification.
