Job summary

DSV in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Facilities Specialist, Maintenance Technician to keep building and equipment in safe, efficient condition. You will perform maintenance and simple repairs in plumbing, carpentry, painting, mechanical and electrical areas and may assist other departments as needed.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, inspections, and reporting issues. A forklift certification is required, as well as 1+ years of maintenance experience and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of general facilities, systems maintenance, and repair work experience or equivalent training.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the condition of the building and equipment and supervise others performing general maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep systems operating efficiently and safely.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair building systems including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and custodial tasks.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of equipment, including forklift operations with certification.
• Adhere to SOPs, policies, and OSHA/MSDS standards and participate in on-call or flexible scheduling.
