  • Keep shop supplies inventory and support landscape, hardscape, and irrigation work.
  • Follow aerospace quality standards and safety procedures.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and equipment. This job title involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing minor issues with machines, all while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and mechanical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Job type: On-site.
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pm (10-hour shifts). Some tasks will require working outside of normal working hours.
  • Overtime: Based on current business needs.
  • Carry out assigned tasks under the authority of the Facilities Maintenance Manager.
  • Communicates with other departments to help identify and resolve maintenance tasks, responding promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining and performing preventative maintenance for vehicles, fabrication machinery and building systems.
    • Small engine knowledge and repair.
    • Vehicle maintenance.
    • Maintaining coolant levels and skimming coolant tanks.
    • Machine washdown and cleanout.
  • Custodial duties.
    • Trash and recycling removal.
    • Sweeping and scrubbing of floors.
    • Making coffee.
    • Sidewalk shoveling and salting during winter.
    • Item assembly and setup/teardown for company events.
  • Performing minor construction tasks.
    • Carpentry.
    • Painting.
    • Drywall repair.
    • Plumbing.
    • Electrical.
    • Running airlines/hoses.
  • Shop supplies inventory management.
  • Landscape, hardscape, and irrigation work.
  • Follow all aerospace quality standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Truline is a nicotine and drug-free workplace. Applicants selected for hire will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test. Continued employment is conditioned upon compliance with Truline’s nicotine and drug-free workplace policies, including any required testing.
  • The first 90 days of employment are considered a probationary period. During this time no PTO is accrued, and you have a maximum of 20 unpaid hours (2 full working days) off. Missing more than 20 hours of work during the first 90 days of employment would result in termination. There are no exceptions to this policy.
  • Must be eligible to perform work under ITAR/EAR regulations. U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Person status is required.
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
  • Strict adherence to attendance policies.
  • Maintaining proper lead safety.
  • Knowledge and ability to use power tools and industrial tools.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and perform a variety of tasks.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate both within and outside your department to resolve maintenance requests.

  • Be teachable
Preferred
  • Previous experience in a maintenance related role.
  • Background knowledge and understanding of the Key Responsibilities as they pertain to job related tasks. (Being able to do what you say you can do.)
Benefits
  • Starting pay rate: $22/hr. Rate will be evaluated over the course of the first 90 days, with further performance-based raises possible in the future.
  • 401k matching: Truline will match 100% of contributions up to 10% of an employee’s pay, eligibility to join the company retirement plan starts on January 1st following the hire date of an employee.
  • 100% employer funded healthcare (the company will cover monthly costs and the deductible, but employees will be responsible for some co-payments). Eligibility begins on the first of the month after employment.
  • Dental coverage. Eligibility begins on the first of the month after employment.
  • Free eye exam once every 2 years.
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance coverage.

  • Upon completion of the 1st year of employment, employees accrue 120 hours PTO per year, with further increases based on length of employment.
  • Time and a half pay after 40 hours worked up to 48 hours, and double pay for any work over 48 hours.
