Job summary

PACS is seeking a maintenance worker for a post-acute facility. You will perform routine upkeep, repair plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, and help maintain resident living areas according to schedules.

You must have at least a 10th grade education and be able to lift up to 25 pounds. The role requires safe handling of equipment and cooperation with nursing staff and supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Experience in building maintenance and general repairs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules and perform routine tasks in resident areas.
• Repair facility systems including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry as directed.
• Replace bulbs, clean windows, and maintain grounds and common areas.
• Follow safety procedures and report accidents or incidents to supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and assist in emergencies.
