Job summary

The PACS Group is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to upkeep grounds, facility and equipment in a healthcare environment. You will follow maintenance schedules, perform routine tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical trades, report incidents, and assist with safety and resident comfort.

Role requires ability to read schedules, lift up to 25 pounds, and work with minimal supervision while coordinating with nursing services and administrators as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education.
• Ability to read and follow schedules.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in maintenance areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for the assigned shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate maintenance with nursing services.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.).
• Replace light bulbs and assist in general repairs as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
