Job summary

PACS is seeking a dependable maintenance worker to keep the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient condition in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, policies and procedures, and as directed by your supervisor.

You will follow maintenance schedules, report incidents, coordinate with nursing services for routine care in resident areas, perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical tasks, replace lighting, and ensure the confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to work with residents and staff.
• Willingness to adhere to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services for routine resident areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facilities, and equipment (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical).
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and clean facilities as directed.
• Service heating and cooling units per manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Assist with lifting heavy equipment and supplies as directed.
