Job summary

PACS is seeking a Maintenance Assistant-H to support on-site grounds, facility, and equipment upkeep in a healthcare setting. This role is part-time on-call, with a compensation of $19–$20 per hour, and requires adherence to safety standards while assisting with routine maintenance tasks.

The successful candidate will follow schedules, coordinate with nursing services on daily tasks, and report accidents promptly. No supervisory responsibilities and a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, staff, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Follow maintenance schedules for respective shift or area.
• Report all accidents/incidents to supervisor.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with nursing services when working in resident living areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, facility, and equipment.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report disclosures as required.
