Job summary

FirstService Residential in Spring Hill, TN is seeking a Maintenance Staff Member responsible for keeping mechanical systems and common areas clean, operational, and disinfected. You will perform routine inspections, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with building staff to address issues.

You will handle minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting and flooring repairs, complete daily work orders, and operate equipment safely.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 2 years general experience in building trades or related maintenance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Routinely walks floors and checks for problems, reporting to supervisors.
• Follow safety precautions and maintain safe work environment.
• Maintain relationships with building staff.
• Paint common areas and inspect for needed touch-up.
• Complete daily work orders and maintain equipment.
• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other repairs.
• Operate new equipment safely and use permits when required.
