Job summary

Simon Property Group in Pittsburgh’s South Hills Village Mall seeks a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems and building structures.

Responsibilities include interior/exterior maintenance, painting, drywall, lighting, and minor repairs; operate maintenance programs; ensure safety compliance and assist with events in partnership with Marketing and Local Leasing teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical School certifications or training preferred.
• 2–3 years building maintenance experience including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and repairs mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems and structural elements.
• Performs interior/exterior maintenance such as painting, drywall, lighting, and minor repairs.
• Operates preventive maintenance programs and maintains safety, records and tools.
