Job summary

Simon Property Group at Ellenton Premium Outlets is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on the property's mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and related systems.

You will inspect the facility daily, perform minor repairs on interior and exterior areas, maintain logs, assist other departments for events, and ensure safety compliance under OSHA guidelines. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
• 2-3 years building maintenance with carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
• Read plans/schematics and comprehend instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, lighting and related tasks.
• Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and maintain logs.
• Assist Marketing for events and Local Leasing with carts placement/repair.
• Follow OSHA safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain inventory records, MSDS, supplies, equipment and tools.
• Inspect air handling units, belts, filters; grease components; maintain logs.
• Perform exterior custodial duties and trash management.
• May perform additional maintenance duties as assigned.
