Job summary

Simon Property Group is seeking a maintenance technician for Tyrone Square Mall to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems. The role focuses on keeping the center safe, functional, and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of building maintenance experience, read and interpret plans, and be able to work independently, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• Experience with carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing systems and structure.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs to interior/exterior areas, including painting, drywall, lighting, and fixtures.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and maintain cleanliness of the property.
• Assist Marketing and Local Leasing with events setup and cart placement/repairs.
• Follow OSHA and safety guidelines to promote a safe work environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
