Job summary

Simon Property Group at Stanford Shopping Center seeks a skilled maintenance technician to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, with strong carpentry and safety discipline. You will perform both interior and exterior upkeep, assist in event setup, and ensure compliance with OSHA standards while maintaining logs and inventory.

This on-site role requires the ability to read plans, work independently, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Must read and interpret documents and plans.
• Strong carpentry, electrical, plumbing skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Inspects facilities, troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical systems.
• Performs interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, lighting, and plumbing.
• Operates maintenance equipment and keeps logs of activities.
• Supports Marketing and Local Leasing with setup and repair of carts during events.
• Adheres to OSHA and safety guidelines for a safe workplace.
• Schedules preventive maintenance programs as assigned by management.
• Maintains inventory, MSDS, supplies and tools.
