Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Utility Person to help keep our client’s facility safe and efficient. You will assist with preventive maintenance on HVAC, perform light building tasks, manage stock, and support daily operations alongside the Facility Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in facility maintenance or warehouse ops, experience with hand tools, forklift operation, and the ability to lift 25+ pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of facility maintenance or warehouse operations experience.
• Experience with general hand tools and basic repairs.
• Forklift and mobile equipment operation experience.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds.
• Strong customer service and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Preventative Maintenance on HVAC and site equipment.
• Perform light building maintenance including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and waste management.
• Maintain spare parts inventories and stock for maintenance and housekeeping.
• Receive, process, and organize warehouse stock products.
• Coordinate with vendors and facilities staff to minimize disruption to operations.
• Operate maintenance and cleaning tools including hand tools, floor scrubbers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
