Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a diligent Utility Person to help maintain safe, clean, and fully operational JLL facilities. You will support maintenance tasks, inventory handling, and environmental health and safety initiatives on site in Charlotte, NC.

The role requires at least two years in related fields and the ability to lift 50 pounds, operate material-handling equipment, and work with a team under a Facility Manager. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, warehouse operations, manufacturing support, building services, or related field.
• Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear PPE.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as light carpentry, painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.
• Receive, label, store, and organize maintenance and warehouse inventory.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, floor scrubbers and related equipment safely.
• Handle and dispose of waste per procedures; promote safety policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and facility personnel to minimize disruption.
• Support housekeeping, moves, installations and special projects as needed.
• Respond promptly to facility support requests and ensure compliance with EH&S policies.
