Job summary

The Scion Group is hiring a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair property systems, perform preventive maintenance, and prepare apartments for turnovers. You will handle routine tasks, document work, and ensure safety and high service levels for residents and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel. CPO certification or progress toward it is preferred, with strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs and OSHA guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs to keep apartments ready for turnovers.
• Execute maintenance objectives and daily assignments with the Facilities team.
• Document work performed, parts used, and follow-up needs clearly.
• Promote positive relations with residents, staff, contractors, and management.
• Assist in completing service requests and ensuring timely completion.
• Handle basic appliance, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical tasks.
