Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in an institutional or industrial environment.
• 2+ years of general skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems in the building.
• Receive and respond to customer requests of mechanical or maintenance issues on the premises.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
• Read and interpret technical procedures, electrical schematics, blueprints, service manuals, and work orders.
• Assemble and install new machines and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of time spent, work performed, and materials used.
