Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to preserve the condition and safety of our New York facilities. You will perform routine inspections, minor repairs, and troubleshoot equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

This on-site role requires a High school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1–3 years in maintenance. You will coordinate with vendors, follow OSHA guidelines, and support emergency responses to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification or relevant licenses (e.g., electrical, plumbing) is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License required for travel between sites.
• 1–3 years of proven experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade.

Responsibilities

• Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular facility inspections to identify issues, defects, or safety hazards and perform necessary preventive maintenance.
• General Repairs: Execute minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks (e.g., fixing leaky faucets, replacing light fixtures, patching drywall, repairing doors and locks).
• Equipment Upkeep: Service, clean, and maintain facility equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure optimal working conditions.
• Work Order Management: Prioritize and complete daily work orders submitted by staff or management in a timely manner.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA guidelines, and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Vendor Coordination: Assist outside contractors and service providers when specialized work or major repairs are required on-site.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues or facility emergencies as they arise.
