Position Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Reports To: General Manager

Direct Reports: None

Compensation: $19.00 - $25.00 an hour DOE

Purpose

The Facilities Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient facility operations, enhancing member experience. The ideal candidate is engaging, diligent, organized, results-driven, and customer service-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Provide verbal and written updates on work progress to the General Manager.
• Assist in scheduling, deploying, and verifying completion of maintenance tasks.
• Inspect and test equipment and systems for proper functioning.
• Ensure safety of members, staff, and assets through inspections and communication.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance as outlined in the CMMS system.
• Respond promptly to work requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Monitor and test building systems for optimal performance.
• Perform general upkeep tasks including painting, carpentry, and groundskeeping.
• Collaborate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
