SUMMARY
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventative maintenance, general maintenance, and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities. The Facilities Maintenance Technician ensures that tasks are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, repairing and adjusting commercial doors, recliner seat repairs, light plumbing, hardware replacement, and other building fixture repairs.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Performs outdoor maintenance. Examples include light landscaping, tree trimming, and rock bed maintenance.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains a clean and tidy workspace.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Maintenance experience required. HVAC, basic carpentry, and commercial fixture maintenance experience . Must have the ability to work unsupervised.

TRAVEL
This position requires traveling to all MN Emagine locations. A personal vehicle for transportation is required. Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided.
