Position Overview

Under supervision, performs inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs of buildings and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC. Responds to emergencies, assists other technicians, maintains safety standards, and provides customer service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical specialties (70%): Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC
2. General duties (30%): Technical support, documentation, communication, departmental duties

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED + 2 years experience or equivalent
• Certifications in safety and technical skills within probation
• Desired: Associates/technical degree, knowledge of building standards and project process

Physical & Work Conditions

Must lift 70 lbs., distinguish colors, climb ladders. May work in extreme environments and cramped spaces.

Location & Schedule

Doan Hall, Third Shift, 40 hours/week
