Job summary

Simon Property Group at Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler, AZ is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for routine inspection, troubleshooting, and repairs of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems across the center.

The role includes preventive maintenance, diagnostic testing, lighting and fixture work, carpentry, and custodial tasks, plus support for events and cart placement while following OSHA safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Technical School certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years building maintenance experience in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and hold a valid driver's license, and work varied shifts including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility and troubleshoot repairs to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and structural systems.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, lighting, and sidewalks.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and keep logs and inventories.
• Support events and cart placement/repair for Marketing and Leasing teams.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and safety guidelines.
• Schedule preventive maintenance programs as directed.
