Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems, structures and grounds across the facility in Augusta, ME. You will assist with installation, testing, maintaining and repairing machinery, and you may drive MaineGeneral Health vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience performing routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Ability to collaborate with internal/external trades persons.
• Recordkeeping of installations and inventories.

Responsibilities

• Assists with installation, testing, maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.
• Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or with trades persons.
• Maintains records of installations.
• Takes inventory of repair parts and supplies.
• Maintains maintenance of grounds as needed and scheduled.
• Some employees may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.
