Job summary

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, and you will address day-to-day building needs with hands-on efficiency. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
• Use several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, dry wall patch, doors & locks.
• Aligns with applicable codes, regulations, and company safety directives.
• Performs day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance; completes maintenance records.
• Reviews work orders; estimates time/materials; orders supplies.
• Assists with installation and modification of building equipment systems.
• Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings.
• Inspects new installation for compliance with codes and safety laws.
• Maintains lighting systems; replaces bulbs and lamps.
• Performs carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and summons aid as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
