Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for Navicent Health Medical Center - Facilities. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers pay ranging from $28.55 to $42.85 per hour, with eligible benefits.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance of basic facility systems, troubleshooting, and safety compliance, with on-call duties as needed and travel within facilities operations. Required: high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and 2–4 years of related

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with technical training beyond
• Advanced training beyond High School that includes the completion of technical training.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and documents tasks in the CMMS.
• Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
• Operates and monitors basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Supports installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.
• Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance.
• Reads blueprints and Life Safety drawings to complete assignments.
