Job summary

City of Kingman seeks a journey-level Building Maintenance Technician II to perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks, including repairs, remodeling, maintenance, and custodial care of municipal buildings under the Building Maintenance Operations Supervisor.

You will use multi-trade expertise in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, painting, and masonry; read blueprints and work orders; lead and supervise staff as needed to keep facilities safe and efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of building maintenance, construction, or repair experience.
• Trade school or union training related to building maintenance desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on multi-trade repairs and preventive maintenance across City buildings.
• Handle project planning, material and labor estimates, and maintain logs and SDS.
• Supervise maintenance staff, temporary workers, and contractor oversight; adjust schedules as needed.
