Job summary

Cox Automotive in Manheim, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to manage and maintain site buildings, equipment, and landscape. You will perform minor repairs on heating and air conditioning systems, carpentry tasks, and routine upkeep to keep facilities safe and functional.

The role requires HS diploma or GED with 3–5 years related experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with related field experience required.
• Alternative: any degree/certification beyond HS with related experience may count.
• Experience in light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
• Perform minor repairs on the heating and air conditioning system.
• Perform routine carpentry work in the repair and maintenance of buildings and offices.
• Replace worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
• Operate snow removal equipment to maintain parking lots and sidewalks.
• Ensure all equipment is working correctly and complies with safety standards.
• Keep all buildings clean and orderly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and follow safety rules.
• Demonstrate safety commitment by following procedures and modeling safe behaviors.
• Participate in safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, e.g., moving furniture, unloading supplies.
• May be required to work overtime as business needs dictate.
