Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Massachusetts site. You will maintain buildings, grounds, equipment, and perform routine repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years of equivalent experience. A valid driver's license, good communication, physical stamina, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field, or 5 years in related field.
Light electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC repairs required.
Valid driver's license and good communication skills.
Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds and work safely.

Responsibilities

Maintain all buildings, property, equipment, and landscaping for the site.
Perform minor repairs and general maintenance on HVAC systems.
Perform routine carpentry work in repair and maintenance of buildings and offices.
Replace worn parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment.
Operate snow removal equipment for parking lots and sidewalks.
Ensure equipment and buildings meet safety and recon standards; maintain cleanliness.
Support safety activities and follow health procedures; may work overtime as needed.
