Job summary

Americold is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to perform routine upkeep across warehouse operations, including doors, dock levelers, sprinkler systems, roofing, and HVAC. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, adherence to OSHA standards, and maintaining preventive maintenance records.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years industrial/facilities maintenance experience or equivalent certification.
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of maintenance trades and equipment types.

Responsibilities

• Repair and adjust doors, dock levelers, sprinkler systems, and electrical components per OSHA standards.
• Maintain roofing, HVAC systems for offices and break rooms.
• Inspect equipment and safety devices for OSHA/compliance.
• Test performance with meters (voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, gauges).
• Keep tools, batteries, and chargers in good condition and organized.
• Maintain preventive maintenance records.
• Perform routine maintenance on external equipment and grounds.
• Handle on-call shifts and respond to security alarms.
• Other duties as assigned.
