Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point, NC facility seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician for standard 1st shift duties and on-call coverage. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot a broad range of mechanical and patient-care equipment, and document actions using CMMS.

This role requires a valid driver's license and 2–4 years of relevant experience. Expect a 40-hour workweek, Monday–Friday, with on-call responsibilities and a pay range of $26.55–$39.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of experience in equipment maintenance.
• Driver's license required.
• Proficiency with CMMS and building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance with CMMS documentation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment (motors, pumps, doors, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain patient care equipment (beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables).
• Support mechanical/electrical systems including HVAC and piping.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Respond to emergencies and repair issues as directed.
• Read blueprints and maintenance manuals for tasks.
