Job summary

Old Vineyard Behavioral Health Services in North Carolina's Piedmont Triad seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of hospital buildings, equipment and grounds. The role covers skilled maintenance, repair, and construction duties with normal hours 8:30am–5pm, and monthly on-call for emergencies.

You will work with trades such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and grounds upkeep, respond to alarms, and complete work orders in The WorxHub system while supporting

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in facility maintenance within healthcare or property management.
• Must be able to perform painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:30-5 and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance for facility using painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC.
• Inspect buildings and grounds for safety concerns.
• Maintain facility grounds and snow removal.
• Prepare facility for functions by setting up tables, chairs and equipment.
• Respond to alarms and codes in accordance with safety procedures.
• Repair and maintain HVAC equipment.
• Complete works orders in The WorxHub system.
• Perform preventative maintenance per documented schedule.
• Drive to pick up supplies and deliver equipment as needed.
• Comply with facility safety, infection control and security programs.
• Participate in required training and on-call rotation.
