Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at High Point Medical Center. You will perform facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes, document work in CMMS, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Requires 2-4 years of maintenance experience, high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. The role is full-time, 40 hours/week, with on-call duties and a pay range of $26.55–$39.85 per hour, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills such as CMMS, building automation system, Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs facility and equipment maintenance in accordance with applicable codes and standards. Documents through use of the CMMS.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as motors, pumps, conveyors, doors, fans, boilers, heat exchangers, controls.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair patient care equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, carts, tables.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, piping, medical gas systems.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and performs equipment safety checks.
• Respond to emergencies such as leaks, floods, power outages, fires, equipment failures.
