Job summary

The Town of Gilbert is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician I to support maintenance across Town facilities, grounds and parks. You will install, inspect and repair electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.

You will operate a range of equipment, manage work orders in Lucity, and be ready to respond to emergency calls. A valid AZ driver license and a pre-employment check are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in building maintenance, equipment operation or related work.
• EPA Universal License may be required.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License required.
• Background check, physical and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across facilities, grounds, and parks.
• Operate medium and heavy equipment and diagnostic tools as needed.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and customers to resolve issues.
• Track daily work orders in Lucity and respond to emergencies.
